Wogg 75 Patent
The patented Wogg 75 technology revolutionises established systems by introducing robust and noiseless sliding mechanisms. For the first time, it also enables concave and convex radii. Consisting of a guide element, aluminium profiles and a small plastic part that can be flexibly integrated into the slats, this innovative technology allows individual dimensions and various radii. Its areas of application range from furniture and interior design to various areas of industrial design.
Roll front
Wogg aluminium is a durable high-tech light metal and is manufactured in a complex process. Aluminium can be recycled again and again with 100% efficiency. In other words, none of the natural qualities of aluminium are lost in the recycling process. At Wogg, we consistently use recycled aluminium out of conviction, even if this is associated with higher costs.
174 parts are assembled by hand for 1 metre of roll front.

It is the finely grooved profile of the aluminium slats that gives the furniture structure and character. The aluminium profile is more curved in depth and creates more fascination on the surface of the front. It creates proximity to the user and a feeling of excellence, modernity and cosiness.

Details
Uchida Design was inspired by the WOGG DNA and recognizes WOGG's expertise in making the material very thin. They design container furniture that consists of a box with an integrated roll-up front that disappears completely into the furniture. Uchida Design uses the flat, finely grooved aluminum profile and is fascinated by the different possible radii in the lines. The different waveforms create a play of movement, color and shadows created by the curved surfaces and lines.

Details
Julien Renault puts aesthetics in the foreground and is inspired by the geometry of the Doric column with its flutes; the aluminum profile is convex. He plays with the viewer's perception. The column is connoted with the function of carrying, so the roll front reflects the image of a supporting element. The furniture acts as a static monolith and in the collection. However, the rolling front is only a shell, the supporting structure of the salon table is hidden inside.
