WOGG 1001 ALUMINUM
ONE SYSTEM – ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES
We have been developing and cultivating sliding door systems for cupboards and sideboards for decades because we absolutely value their functional and aesthetic value. Fronts that roll or slide around the body reveal the container completely without taking up space. When closed, every piece of furniture looks like an elegant monolith.
Christophe Marchand's collection uses the innovative Wogg 75 system and celebrates the ellipse as a basic shape. This resulted in five timeless furniture types for homes, offices and public spaces. The concealed sliding mechanism is unique and internationally patented.
Wogg furniture is characterized by exceptional construction and materiality. We question existing typologies. This often means: we enter new territory in order to come up with our own answers.
INTERNATIONALLY PATENTED PRECISION TECHNOLOGY FOR NEW CURVES AND RADIIES
WOGG 75 was developed as an in-house development over 18 months of close collaboration with engineers and materials specialists. The system consists of a cube-shaped guide element as a sliding mechanism and aluminum profiles. The small injection-molded plastic part, which encloses a soft rubber tire, can be clipped into the slats at any pre-milled point. The lightweight construction has a material thickness of one millimeter. It can run hanging or standing around the body. Their geometry allows individual dimensions and, for the first time, concave and convex, narrow and wide radii.
With this sophisticated kit there are hardly any limits to the design and architecture.
